Taking a screenshot of your Laptop screen is known as a screen capture or screenshot as we used to take on our mobile phones mostly. Once taken, the screenshot consequently gets copied to your Laptop clipboard.

To Take Screenshot Of The Entire Screen

  • Press Windows logo key along with PrtScn Key to take screenshot in laptop.

To Take Screenshot Of A Single Active Window

  • Open or click the window that you want to take a screenshot and press press Alt + PrntScrn keys both together.

To Take Screenshot Of All Active Windows

  • Only press the PrtScn Key.
After following the above steps, now the screenshot is ready to save/paste according to your needs. You can use the Ctrl + V Key to paste the screenshot into any document, email, file, image editors like Paint, Photoshop etc.
